Queen’s Valley reservoir is lovely place to go walking or jogging any time of the year, and it’s pushchair friendly.

You must keep to the path, keep dogs on leads and not ride bikes around there, but these rules
do not impinge on the pleasure of the walk. If you come along in spring, you’ll see ducklings and goslings – there are also, robins, tits, gulls, cormorants, the occasional marsh harrier and more.
The flowers are beautiful and there is a great sense of peace there.
The full walk is just under 2 miles, with shorter routes (and plenty of benches) available, and there is a portaloo half way round! Here’s a map of Queen’s Valley reservoir walks, and here’s how to find Queen’s Valley reservoir itself.
