Ouaisné is a beautiful beach that is never crowded! Easy to walk or drive to, Ouaisné is a favourite among locals. On hot days you can sunbathe, swim, explore, watch the sunset and have a barbecue (or nip in for a drink or meal to the old Smugglers Inn), and on windier or cooler days, it’s a fab place for a walk!
You can get to Ouaisné from Porthole Suites self-catering accommodation, Jersey in 20-30 minutes’ walk. It is uphill half the way and downhill the other half – in both directions! – and very pretty.

It’s a few minutes’ drive too, if you don’t want to walk or cycle, and there is ample free parking.
You can also walk from Ouaisné across to St Brelade’s beach – along the sand when the tide’s out, and over the top (Point le Grouin) when it’s in.
There are buses back to St Aubin’s from St Brelade if you don’t fancy the walk back 🙂
