Our big tides mean the sea often goes out a long way on some beaches, including in St Aubin's Bay, and one of our regular guests took the opportunity last week to walk out and explore the seabed beyond the fort.

Over the Headland to Ouaisné
St Aubin's village is sheltered from the west by the Noirmont peninsula. This headland is worth visiting in itself, for the protected environment, pleasant walks with great views and the German fortifications.
